Rebecca L. Kruise M.S. CCC-SLP, CDP
Rebecca Kruise, Speech-Language Pathologist and Owner of Life Speech Services, has always had a passion for helping adults maximize their potential beyond the limitations of their neurological impairments. Rebecca received her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as her Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Pennsylvania. Rebecca is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Rebecca is also a SPEAK OUT!Ⓡ certified provider for patients with Parkinson’s disease.
While working in a Skilled Nursing Facility during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rebecca realized the importance of having family and caregivers involved in treatment to provide the needed carryover from the facility to the home environment. This sparked the idea for Life Speech Services to provide adult speech therapy and partner with family and caregivers to provide collaboration and coaching. Rebecca has a passion for using evidenced-based functional treatments to help adults be able to participate in activities they love with those they love most throughout Mifflin and Juniata counties!
